Order Processing:
Orders are processed Monday through Friday at 3:00 pm EST. For example: if you placed your order at 12:00 pm EST on Monday, we would process your order that day. If you place your order at 4:00 pm Friday, it would not be processed until Monday. We make every effort to ship orders as quickly as possible. Due to constant changes in our inventory and that of our suppliers, we are unable to guarantee the availability of any given item at any price listed.
All orders are shipped from our Nashville
warehouse.
Back Orders:
When placing an order, all items which can be filled are shipped immediately. Unshipped items will be placed on back order. As back ordered and import items ship, they are sent via First Class* regardless of original shipping method.
If a back ordered item becomes unavailable, we will notify you by e-mail,
at which time you may substitute another item or we will credit your
account.
You may cancel a back-ordered item anytime by e-mail
or phone.

Shipping:
All items which can be filled are shipped immediately. We normally do not wait for all of the items to be available unless specified. For shipping purposes, one item is an individual cd, cassette, DVD or VHS video. For example, a four(4) cd boxed set is considered 4 items.
Global Shipping:
The chart below details shipping charges within the United States. This includes: the continental 48 states, Alaska, Hawaii, APE/APOs, US possessions and territories. Tennessee addresses will be charged an additional 9.25% sales tax.
This chart also includes Canadian rates separate and then the rest
of the world. All compact disc orders are sent first class by the United
States Postal Service unless otherwise
specified. ** All vinyl, book, toy, poster & magazine orders must ship by Priority mail due to weight considerations.**
**On heavier items, you may be contacted for approval of additional shipping charges. In these cases, we wave any handling fee and only charge you the exact cost of the shipment. We apologize for any inconvenience or delay that this may cause. ** International shipping : TheGreatEscapeOnLine.com will ship
your order to almost anywhere in the world. Remember that your are
responsible for any taxes, duties, or customs fees charged by your
local government. We must place a customs sticker on all
international orders declaring the exact contents. We cannot declare
an incorrect value on your shipment.

Note regarding large domestic orders: If your order is not completed in one shipment, back ordered items will be subject to a $1.00 per item charge to help to cover additional costs. No charges are applied for any item until it is shipped. Orders may be held until complete upon request.
Return Policy:
Please contact
us at contactus@TheGreatEscapeOnline.com and
please reference your order number before returning any item for any reason.
Any unopened domestic item can be returned
for any reason within 30 days. Upon receipt of the item, we will
credit your account for the price of the item. Some returns may be subject to a 10% restocking fee.
Shipping and handling charges are not refundable unless the error was on our part.
Import product cannot be
returned unless it is defective.
If a CD jewel case or
cassette case arrives damaged, Contact Us with
your order number and we will send you a new replacement case free
of charge.
In the case of defective product, please contact
us at contactus@TheGreatEscapeOnline.com for
information on obtaining replacement product. A defective item can
only be replaced by the same item.
Grading Standards
All records are graded conservatively. In an attempt to give customers an accurate impression of condition rather than adhere to somewhat arbitrary criteria, TheGreatEscapeOnLine.com & The Great Escape give an "overall presentation" grade,
supplemented when necessary with additional remarks.
For example: where some dealers will not allow
a cut corner on an otherwise near mint jacket (often
automatically relegating it to a VG+ at best), we
may grade such a record as NM and note the cut-out
mark (thereby letting you know what it "really" looks
like: a near-perfect record with a cut corner).
LPs are graded cover first, followed by the grade
for the vinyl. All vinyl marked as "NEW" or "CUTOUT" in our
database is new and direct from the manufacturer.
